Many individuals that believe that they have been denied an employment position because of some information that was found on their criminal background record are wondering if it is possible to expunge their criminal background records.  There is a way to have your criminal record expunged by the court system if certain requirements are met within a specific time period, but many of the individuals that are worried about their criminal past have very little to be worried about.

Another thing that the person must remember about a criminal background record is that they are generally limited to a specific time period, generally the last 5 to 10 years.  Many companies believe that if a person has managed to stay out of trouble for that long, they will continue to stay out of trouble.
